The Task Pane (tabs) move to the left

If the tabs for "My Maps, Map Markers, ........" have moved to the left hand side of the screen and you would like them on the right hand side then you need to change a setting under Tools.

Tools > Options > General > Left Handed User Interface and clear the tick box.

Struggling to find where you can set the default font type and size for the notes. It's here:

Format > Style > Modify > Modify Map Style > Modify Notes Format

Are you frustrated with the things that are not in X5 but were in 2002 or that have changed.

Remove some of the frustration by clicking the "Learning Tab" and opening the "MindManager X5 Release Notes". Take a look at the "Changes from MindManager 2002" topic.

How do you change the Version Number and Date as displayed on the central topic?

Close the map and save a copy (just in case).

Open the MMX5 file with WinZip or similar.
From WinZip view the Document.xml file with Notepad or similar.
Search for Version.
When you find the variable (rather than any of your topics or notes) edit the value in Major="XXX"
Search for Last Modified to adjust the date and time and edit the value.
Save the edited file back into the zip file (=.mmap).
With WinZip and Notepad when you close the Notepad the file is saved back to zip file.

Open your MindMap and things will have changed.
