MindManager 8 has shipped with a new set of icons which are very good. They even include a pound sign. But you may have maps on which you wish to continue using the previous icon set. I still have the very popular ones from
MindManager 2002 available to download.
What you need to do is copy the image folder from your personal MindManager 7 directory to the MindManager 8 folder and rename it MindManager 7 Images.
In Vista they are here: C:\Users\
YOUR_NAME\AppData\Local\Mindjet\MindManager\7\Library\ENU\Images
When you restart MindManager 8 they will appear in the Library - Images - MindManager folder as another folder.
If you want leave them where they are or move them to another location, use the Package Folder option
MindManager Button top right > MindManager Options > Package Folders > New >
Name: MindManager 7 Icons
Path: Which ever folder they are in
Resource Type: Images
You can use the same process with Background Images, Icons, Shapes, Map Parts, Template, Styles, Map Marker Lists, Web Export Templates
And you can use it to connect up to Intranet folders containing information that brand logos, promotional photos etc. Don't copy these folders just use the Package Folder process to link to them. That way you will have the latest images whenever anyone updates them
