Setting the Author of a map to you and Map Properties

If you do not have Options > Save Prompt for Map Properties enabled you may be unaware that MindManager saves a set of data with each map: Author, Company, email address etc.

You can tell MindManager to use your information by filling in MindManager Button > Options > User Information. This will not overwrite the Author field because this is inherited from the map template you used to create the map.  Normally the default template. 

To edit this Tools: > Map Templates > New Blank Map.  Open the template then MindManager Button > Prepare > Properties and change Mindjet to your name.  Save the map template.  If there are other map templates you use, repeat the process.
