Import/Export

The capability of exporting from MindManager to MS Office programs is legendary, for me since Pro 6 but I dare say X5 was its precursor.  Is it supposed to import from MS Office into map format too?  I know and have used that from Word (Office 2003) but now I want to put a PowerPoint presentation into a meeting map.  Of course, I can copy & paste, but is there a good direct operation?  In Word I have the blue blobby icon for "Send selected paragraphs to Mindjet MindManager" but I have not found such a thing in PowerPoint.

There is no import from PowerPoint to MindManager.  You have a few choices:

Save the PowerPoint as a standalone show - PPS file type and attach or link this to your map.

Save the relavant slides as jpgs and then paste in to topics or notes

Cut and paste text from PowerPoint to MindManager.
