I should have remembered this one.  I included an "&" in a topic title which became a web page file name e.g. "Review & Issues.html".  This was spotted as an error by a Firefox Add In Web Developer 1.1.5 when I was trying to locate the problem causing a page to be only partly displayed in IE7.  Tip avoid using ampersands and back slashes etc. in your topic names if you are going to export to the web.

Second issue was I had commented out a section of the BodyItem.htm template but had ended the commenting with "--!>" and it should be "-->".  The error was ignored in Firefox but stopped IE7 displaying the rest of that page!
