This is what happened for me:
- In MindManager 2012 Connect desktop client Sharing > Contacts did not open a web page in Firefox, my default browser. It did in Internet Explorer. A friend reports it does work for them in Firefox. Maybe I am blocking some functionality with my Firefox settings.
- I added a new contact in the Mindjet Connect browser > Contacts page. It was not available to me in MindManager 2012 Connect desktop client.
- I had to repeat the addition of the new contact in the MindManager 2012 Connect desktop client by right clicking the map and using + Share With a New Person. After filling in the screen for the contact and clicking OK there is no new visible contact. But when you press Share, the email to the contact appears.
- I am now waiting for my new contact to join me on the map. And they have.
- When I added a second contact with the process given in 3. They appeared in the list immediately and I felt reassured that I had entered the information correctly.
