JCVGantt offers a number of facilities for managing the plan:

1. Dragging task finish to increase or reduce duration

2. Dragging the task to a new start date

3. Changing the dependency type e.g. Finish to Finish

4. Creating Gantt Parts assemblies of tasks that can be reused on other projects

5. A resource pool which can show the usage of people across several projects. You will be able to see if someone is trying to do three tasks in a day or if someone has nothing to do for a week.

6. Define calendars for resources. If a resource is on holiday for 2 days a coincident task will be delayed by two days.
